Today I went to Forever 21 and played the How to Destroy a Girl’s Self-Esteem in Under Seven Dresses game.
Monsters University was a surprisingly realistic, down to earth, and anti-college movie.
The biggest lessons were: 1.) Sometimes it doesn’t matter how hard you study something or how much work you put in, you just aren’t cut out for something, and 2.) You don’t need college to be successful. You can work your way up from the bottom of a company.
You go, Pixar!
There are so many girls crying on Tumblr about their lack of a gap between their thighs, but I just read a book where the narrator was struggling not to think about the way an attractive girl’s thighs rubbed when she walked. It just reaffirmed to me that girls are more toxic to each other about body image than men.
Pushing Daisies is really relatable to me b/c I also struggle with the fact that I can’t touch Lee Pace.
Shout out to the middle-aged man who came into Target at 10pm tonight to buy tampons, Midol, and a box of dark chocolate. You go, champ.
