Last paper I turned in for this class my prof called me out in front of the class for typing in Calibri because it’s sans serif. I have another paper due tomorrow, which font would most likely be most obnoxious to a 60yo English prof? Like I want him to cry because this terrific paper is wrapped in a complete crap font, help me out!
yesterday at target the cashier said ‘your receipt is in the bag’ and i responded with ‘you too’ so i’ve been dealing with that for the past 18 hours but i’m slowly coming to terms with it which is cool
hi!! i really love your art style (esp the ways you use color) but i can't figure out what brushes you use to achieve it :( would you be ok with posting them? (If not it's fine!!!)
thank you, I’m really glad you like it!!! :’) and yeah, I’m super ok with posting em!! here are the custom sai brushes I’ve been using most heavily (I hope my texture names aren’t too different from yours!):
the first brush is my go-to lineart brush! it gives a really interesting texure, but has hard enough edges that it never appears too fuzzy. when used at a larger brush size with heavier pressure, it makes big solid splotches that can be nice for adding some interest in your colors!
I use the second brush pretty sparingly - really only to add occasional texture to hard-lined shadows or highlights.
the third one used to be my favorite, but I’ve been using it extremely rarely these days (aside from sketching, it makes a nice sketch brush! feels a little more natural than using a harder brush). it’s pretty good at getting blended coloring without looking too unnatural or smooth.
but lately for coloring I’ve mostly been using a standard hard round brush! kind of the blandest default there is, haha…. but it can be nice!
be sure to experiment with using them at different sizes and with different amounts of texture; you can get a lot of mileage out of the first and third ones once you get used to them! also keep in mind that I use them on large canvases, so you see them once they’ve been resized. they’ll likely look different at 100% on a small canvas!
the scariest president had to be Rushmore because he had four heads
it’s a good thing we captured him in that mountain even if we have to live in fear of the spell wearing off :/
Am I glad he’s frozen in there and that we’re out here, and that he’s the president, and that we’re frozen out here, and that we’re in there and I just remembered we’re out here. What I wanna know is where’s the politics?
the robot apocalypse will be caused by people talking about the robot apocalypse so much that the robots will think that’s what we want and they’re just trying their best
All you sweet summer children talking about how cringe-inducing all the pro-Bernie memes are.
Nothing can even come close to being as cringy as ‘Bush Game’.
For those who don’t know what that is (and it’s 12 years old at this point so I imagine most wouldn’t), it’s a flash game made by a guy who also made Emo Game, a platforming style boss-rush game where you played as people from Emo bands.
Bush Game was a game in the same style, about defeating George W. Bush in the 2004 election. Highlights include killing Barbara Bush and doing a level inside her vagina, and John Kerry fusing with Voltron to fight the most laughably edgy caricature of Bush and Dick Cheney ever made. It also featured Hulk Hogan on the anti-bush side, which is really funny in retrospect.
one of the psychologists i work with at the hospital told me to “share these pictures around” because he’s really proud of his new lambs, so HERE HAVE A PICTURE OF SOME FRESH SHEEP
Guys please check out these sheep I want to be able to tell him a ton of people saw his fresh sheep
