I have a bunch of new tails in my shop, mostly HUGE fox tails, all in colors I either haven’t had in stock for a while, or entirely new ones I haven’t had before. They’ve all been checked for leather quality and each has had a handmade attachment sewn to it, rather than a cheap, weak ball chain. They’ve all been ritually purified as part of my spiritual practice and offerings are made in the form of donations to environmental nonprofits, as has been my practice for almost two decades. my neighbourhood has never had an ice cream truck. in the summer, we have the knife sharpening truck. it slowly circles the block and rings its ominous bell. i have never seen someone interact with it. it may be that only those marked by death can see it
