I turned my frustration with myself into art.

I feel like this is really important for people to see. I’ve been saying depression and mess go hand-in-hand for years, but so many people feel like they’re alone in it. You’re not.

I was testing the waters of my independence-while-living-with-parents. Conclusion: I did not get very far.

I’m sorry. I don’t think I know anyone who’s won that battle…

I read your other post and I don’t understand why they’re acting that way but parents don’t make any sense. I’m sorry.

Deleting all comments because only in this site you will find people throwing shit at a 17 year old boy who has voluntarily fed 80'000 people by starting his own business because he has a very particular idea lf masculinity which happens to threat only people with paper feelings.

Feminists “how dare things be targeted towards certain demographics I don’t understand how marketing and advertising work!!”

Also props to this kid, how cool and smart and not at all wasteful..

They even have SheCans which are targeted towards women. Seriously considering buying some for my girlfriend.

It’s funny how no one would give a woman shit for not liking a particular bath and body works scent but as soon as a man doesn’t want a Pink Chiffon Dream Scented Candle, he’s just being a sexist asshole…

This kid is brilliant

Coffee and campfire candles???  If they smell realistic I’d be for that. I hate perfumy smells, floral scents just don’t belong in a house, and they give me gnarly headaches.

Why would anyone want to give this kid a hard time for this?  He found an under-tapped market and made a successful, compassionate business out of it.  We need more of this, geez.

Research Help

Hi, Friends! ♥

I’m trying to write a short (2000 words) research paper on what makes a “successful” fantasy world (engaging, memorable, etc.).  Normally I could do this myself with my own analysis, but my prof wants to see between 12 and 15 articles, at least half of them being peer-reviewed, scholarly articles.

But I’m coming up short!  I’m trying to focus on fantasy worlds I’m familiar with (Earthsea,  Middle Earth, “Randland”), but I‘ll branch out if I can get some quality analysis.

So if anyone knows anywhere to look, I’d really appreciate it!  Thanks so much!!

VAN EYCK

I lost it at the end.

Okay, I had to check out the Van Eyck thing. I was a bit in denial because, come on, every single person can’t look like President Putin!

There are no words to describe how wrong I was.
