Monsters University was a surprisingly realistic, down to earth, and anti-college movie.

The biggest lessons were: 1.) Sometimes it doesn’t matter how hard you study something or how much work you put in, you just aren’t cut out for something, and 2.) You don’t need college to be successful.  You can work your way up from the bottom of a company.

You go, Pixar!

Hey, everybody!  I’ve got some great news!

Thanks to everyone’s votes and sharing this around, it won ModCloth’s “Make the Cut: Meant to ‘Tee’” contest!  Along with designs by Tahoura S. and Alexandra M., this design will soon be made into a women’s scoopneck top and sold on ModCloth’s website.

I just want to thank everyone again for being so helpful with this!  It means a lot more than I can say here without coming across super corny.

I’d also like to thank Leigh Bardugo for sharing this with her Tumblr army, I was really, really touched by that.  Also, if you haven’t started reading her Grisha books yet, you’re missing out!  GET ON THAT!

Love you all lots! ♥ ♥ ♥

There are so many girls crying on Tumblr about their lack of a gap between their thighs, but I just read a book where the narrator was struggling not to think about the way an attractive girl’s thighs rubbed when she walked.  It just reaffirmed to me that girls are more toxic to each other about body image than men.

Pushing Daisies is really relatable to me b/c I also struggle with the fact that I can’t touch Lee Pace.

Shout out to the middle-aged man who came into Target at 10pm tonight to buy tampons, Midol, and a box of dark chocolate.  You go, champ.

Hookay, I’m reblogging this because I know I have a lot of female followers, and I used to really struggle with the fact I had cellulite (for as long as I can remember) and I can’t stand the thought of other girls/ladies still being deluded because of tards like this ^. Firstly, it has nothing to do with age, it is entirely normal and entirely healthy, if more woman with it were as bikini active as Scarlet, you’d see that a massive percentage, if not most, of the women have varying degrees of this ‘problem’. Cellulite isn’t a scientific term, it’s a word invented by beauty product companies to sell their useless creams and scrubs or what have you. It’s like trying to peddle a treatment for people who have dimples when they smile, or freckles, moles or cleft chins. Some people have those things, some don’t, but it’s just how the human body works. What has been dubbed ‘cellulite’ is just the fat cells in your butt and legs (and omg fat cells are not a bad thing, they keep your warm and snuggly) peeping through the beehive style netting under your skin, which can be a beautiful thought if you rinse your brain out of trashy magazines. Loving a woman with cellulite and thinking she’s sexy isn’t nobel prize material so much as the equivolent of loving a dude with chest hair. This is how you were designed, it’s not wrong or unattractive or bad, just embrace your loverly unique body for all it’s moles and kinks and curves! K!

I didn’t even notice the cellulite for a few moments, I was trying to figure out what the heck the “author” was talking about.

What’s even worse is the comments left on the bottom of that article.  Actually some of them are (sort of?) encouraging, a number of the commenters said they’d still “bang her fat ass”.

And Yasahime is right, cellulite has nothing to do with age.  I live in a beach town, everyone walks around in swimsuits all year at all times of the day.  I’ve seen plenty of teenage girls with cellulite, some of them as young as fourteen.

This author has no idea what he’s talking about, so I’m just going to be the one to suggest he hasn’t been with very many women.  Or been around women.  Or been to a beach.
