The 11:59 pm deadline ain’t no joke in college.

listen to me. look me in the eyes. that blackboard link will close on your procrastinating ass
Not to undermine the importance of this, but I can speak from personal experience that if you need just a little more time on an assignment (particularly a big one), shoot your prof an email and ask. Usually they don’t care if that paper is a few hours late, just be polite and sincere when you aplogize and make it the best damn effort you can.

So parents are buying their children supplies for school and teachers are confiscating them and turning them into community supplies?
What the hell?
Lol, that’s how it’s been since I was a kid.
That’s exactly how it was when I was a kid
What kinda commie classrooms were y'all in
It stopped in middle school but those crazy long supply lists for elementary school were all “community supplies”
My schools did the same thing, we were told it was because we had teachers and students who couldn’t afford their supplies. Something about teachers either not getting enough to buy enough or not getting anything at all. Like we’d all bring a box of crayons, tissues, extra paper, etc. because kids would lose, trash, forget, whatever those and then they couldn’t do the class work. Having the class supplies on hand helped resolve that problem. Not saying it was right, or the best solution, but it was a solution to the problem.
