the ladies on friends aren’t here for your idiotic gender stereotypes
This reminds me of how many little boys I saw going through the checkout lanes with their parents when I cashiered. A lot of them would see the $3 toys placed at their eye level and grab the Barbies and their parents would tell them to put them back, but very rarely was the reasoning, “those are for girls”.
One time however a maybe four-year-old boy insisted he needed the two inch tall flight attendant Barbie. His mom told him no.
“Buh mom,” he cried. “I need her to fly my plane!”
“No sweetie she’s a girl,” the mom replied, and I’m not sure if that was a Freudian slip.
And the boy looked baffle. He scrunched up one eye like little kids do, and shouted, “Girls can fly planes!”
The mom made the face someone out witted makes, and Barbie was put on the conveyor belt.
Barbie got a promotion from flight attendant to pilot that day.
