Do they even make comedies that are not rated R any more?
100% agree. I think it’s just to add shock-value crap. It’s all so uncomfortable, I can’t get through 15 minutes before I turn them off. I think the only R-rated comedy I finished because it was actually good was World’s End. But I’m stretching my memory to think of any comedy movie not R and not a family-friendly animated movie that was any good. It gets tiresome because so many premises seem great but then they weigh it down with trash and it’s not worth it to sit through.
