The fact that Donald Trump is Times person of the year alongside Stalin and Hitler is less indicative of trump as a person and more indicative of Time as a publication, who named both Hitler and Stalin person of the year
Time’s Person of the Year is the most newsworthy person–it isn’t a measure of whether someone was good or not. It is funny that after writing him off as a joke they had to turn around and name him person of the year, but rest assured it’s not a matter of praising him.
