Artist side of tumblr,
Does anyone know of a good stock photo ref site for (mostly) accurate gun combat poses, particularly with female models? I’m going out of my mind searching high and low and only coming up with soft porn and painfully inaccurate results.

My drawing prof’s absurd size requirements make me not want to do the assignments. 36"x48" is too cumbersome for drawing, I don’t have a full studio to work on this, nor do I live on campus and can use the uni’s studios.
I’m just gonna do a series of smaller drawings that add up to that requirement. Harumph.
My least favorite part about drawing is wasting hours looking for the right reference pics…
… only to give up, drive forward, and finish later only to realize that you made a simple mistake that could’ve been avoided by looking up a reference.
I’m sitting on this massive pile of sketches, doodles, and finished pieces and I never have the time or patience to take and edit decent pictures.
Digital artists have it easier, pfft.

Seriously, I try to take pictures of my art that has a white background and it doesn’t matter if it’s in direct sunlight, overcast light, indoor light, etc., the white is ALWAYS gray. And I try to edit that out on GIMP or whatever and it never works. It just makes the colors garish and I lose all my midtones.
Any advice or spells I could use?
When you realize other artists are sketching you across the room so you sit super still and suddenly realizing how totally uncomfortable your position is.

i really want to draw but there are guests over and if i start drawing they’ll want to watch and start commenting and tell me what to draw and i’m very sick of dealing with that O^O;;
