Thanks to the upcoming Ferguson case decision, I’ll know exactly which blogs to unfollow.

I was assigned to write an analysis of the change in opinions of the Crimean war in a 130+ page novella in UNDER one page, DOUBLE-SPACE???

This is an affront to critical thinking.

As we get closer to the Christmas season, I’d like to remind everyone of the following:

• Being rude to food service workers is DANGEROUS.
• Haggling with cashiers in corporate retail will get you nowhere.
• Seasonal workers are crash course trained and barely know what they are doing.  They are not going to know everything or may be wrong.  Do NOT call them stupid.
• Please please PLEASE read company return policies on their website.
• Please please PLEASE read ALL THE PRINT on sale signs, ads, and coupons.  They are intentionally designed to mislead you.
• If you are shopping on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Day, or any other day or time of significance, do NOT complain to the employees that they “shouldn’t be working”.  Most often, they get paid extra and want the money.  But mostly because people like you want/need to shop at that time.  Be GRATEFUL.

But above all:

• DON’T BE RUDE!!  Patience and compassion will always get you better service, not worse.

Target opens at 6pm Thanksgiving Day this year for Black Friday

That horrible sound you heard was my soul shattering.

So I heard Naruto is finally ending, and while I fell off that wagon yeeears ago, just wanted to put this out there:

If Kakashi and Sakura don’t become an item, I don’t care.  Dead to me.

I’ll buy all the Naruto crap in the world if that happens AND Sasuke dies.

I WAS NOT EMOTIONALLY PREPARED FOR THE ENDING OF “OVER THE GARDEN WALL”.

NOT.

EMOTIONALLY.

PREPARED.

My dad is studying at a war college on base this year and he was talking about his writing method for papers. So I mentioned Hemingway’s “write drunk, edit sober” process and my dad looked up from his coffee cup as if Jesus himself had spoken. He whispered, “That’s not a bad idea.”

The trailer Nintendo made for the Majora’s Mask 3DS remake is terrible so lets just watch this fan made fake WiiU Majora trailer from 2012 again instead.

This is still one of the best Zelda fanworks ever, no question.

But yeah… that announcement trailer was a disappointment.  I couldn’t even really tell how they’d updated it, besides Tael being more blue and the Moon getting a facelift.  But the Ocarina 3D remake trailer didn’t look THAT stellar either if I remember correctly.

Eh, Nintendo will still get another $35 out of me for this I bet, hahahaha!

I always feel bittersweet about Guy Fawkes Day. The conspirators were seeking religious freedom after years of violent persecution, and why that doesn’t justify blowing people up, it’s still difficult to not sympathize. Of course, King James was a lot more moderate than his predecessors, but Catholics still had to practice their faith in secret out of fear or death or exile.

But what gets me is that the celebrations were government created! The monarchy and parliament told everyone to celebrate, they didn’t choose to.

I ramble, but it was a fascinating event.
