Character sketch for another story I’m working on that doesn’t really have a title.
Noah is a side character, but I like him a lot. 14-years-old, shy, awkward, but all around a very sweet person, he’s the best friend of a main character who doesn’t have a name yet. He lives in the orphanage of the slums of a country-sized city and he must stay there until the Reckoning on his 18th Birthday when he’ll find out if he’s human or Goblin.
Sketches for a little story I’m writing under the working title, “The Woman with Stars in her Eyes”.
A sky goddess loses the stars, the little girl Ellie finds them in a well, and then must go on a journey full of moral decisions and monsters in order to return the stars.
I love Monaux’s work, he’s truly brilliant. Felt a bit inspired to try something like his lettering work as a doodle, but I have no idea what I’m doing, haha!
It was fun nonetheless. c:
“All the Best Dogs are Wild and Free”
Sometimes my brain says things so I roll with it and figure out what it’s saying later. The other day it decided to tell me that the best dogs are wild and free and I accepted that as truth while pondering what that meant. Eventually I figured it out!
(Listen to me talking to myself, I’m not crazy, I swear!)

I think everything is best when wild and free, personally.

“Rapunzel”
Done maybe a year and a half ago. Clearly I’m not producing much new stuff right now, but I still like this. Could’ve done better, but I still like it.
This was done shortly after “The Three Ravens” and I wanted to continue that organic feeling, that everything was made from nature. And the hair! Omigosh I kind of have an unhealthy love for drawing and coloring hair, so this was a blast, haha! :D
Less than decent quality because it was too big for a scanner and a friend took the picture after I sold it to her, haha! She bought it for her little sister, isn’t that sweet? c:

BLAST FROM THE PAST ART LET’S GOOOO.
Got an honorable mention in a teen art contest my junior year with this. I want to do something similar sometime soon, I’m pretty fond of the overall picture still. I’d do her face different this time around, I’m not such an anime fan anymore, but that’s about it, really.
