The ocean had pulled back so far today, but this thin layer remained and moved towards the sea like a creek. The sand was soft but compacted.

Went to the beach today and the tide was so low I could walk under the pier.

I got up super early the other day and caught the sunrise. I’m going to make this the norm from now on.

I’ve had a lovely few days.  Yesterday I had tea and coffee with a good friend, then we went to the pier in San Clemente to take pictures of Seal Rock while the weather was nice.  Afterwards I had a long phone call with another dear friend that I was in desperate need of.  Then today… got a job at Target!  Hooray!

Fennec bbs at the San Diego Zoo.  Ridiculously cute!  I was so happy they came out!  I was hanging out there for a little while, hoping they’d come out of their little hideaway.  Of course they didn’t until I decided to leave, but I caught the buggers out of the corner of my eye and went back!  Hahaha, jokes on you, you little tricksters!
