Yes but have you been in a classroom? Children are savages and give them free reign and it would be a disaster. Someone would wind up with a pigtail in paint. Also they’re unlikely to stay focused on a presented problem without someone on them.
And teenagers! They’re worse. Seeing how they transition to higher education just affirms they don’t want to work for a problem that the answer isn’t readily available. Lord of the Flies doesn’t stop being a possibility after elementary school.
Yes, schools teach compliance, but that just gives the truly brilliant and innovative people a chance to shine. If they can’t retain their creativity after the soul crusher that is grade school, it wasn’t that great to begin with.
