I love my university for planting a flag for every life lost on 9/11. This photo cannot capture the vast patriotism displayed by the University of Central Oklahoma. I have never been more proud to be a Broncho.
I tried to get something similar done at my high school, a kind of coalition between the young Republicans and Democrats, but the young Dems were… not as enthusiastic. They were more interested in spending their club dues on t-shirts.
I would really love it if this could be a day for national mourning, a federal holiday like Memorial Day. Unfortunately then it would become like Memorial Day, where the meaning is lost in sales and cookouts.
I may have forgotten my American flag pin for work, but I didn’t forget the date.
I honest to goodness cannot escape rap music on this campus. So many people just walk around blaring music off their phones– halls, cafeteria, classrooms, the LIBRARY– but why??? Get some headphones you’re being really rude.

In all seriousness I would actually love to learn latte art but it’s stressful enough where I work just getting orders done quickly and correctly, I can’t imagine trying to make it into art in the process. Especially when we’re just gonna slap a lid on it.
