the funniest thing in the entire pirates of the caribbean series is definitely that one scene in At World’s End where they have parlay but davy jones is part of it, and rather than have him stand in the shallows or something they get a big bucket of water and have in stand on it on shore
who thought of that idea? who thought “put davy jones in a bucket of water” and had the guts to suggest it aloud? and then who went “hey that sounds like a great idea!”
at some point someone told davy jones their idea was for him to stand in a bucket of water and he agreed to it
*stands majestically in a bucket*
ok but notice the trail of buckets behind him meaning he walked from the ocean through three other buckets of water before he got into the one hes standing in
having a flesh vessel is so annoying?????? like they have to be constantly watered, they have to be in specific temperature range to be comfortable, i’ve had a headache for like seven hours and nothing i do will get rid of it,
physical forms are so inconvenient??????????????
I knocked mine over yesterday and scraped off some of the outer barrier and it keeps sending me really annoying warning messages about it
blood.dll has caused an access violation exception
I still can’t figure off how to turn off the monthly compile time. It goes for like 7 days wrecks all the system and takes so much CPU time.
So parents are buying their children supplies for school and teachers are confiscating them and turning them into community supplies?
What the hell?
Lol, that’s how it’s been since I was a kid.
That’s exactly how it was when I was a kid
What kinda commie classrooms were y'all in
It stopped in middle school but those crazy long supply lists for elementary school were all “community supplies”
My schools did the same thing, we were told it was because we had teachers and students who couldn’t afford their supplies. Something about teachers either not getting enough to buy enough or not getting anything at all. Like we’d all bring a box of crayons, tissues, extra paper, etc. because kids would lose, trash, forget, whatever those and then they couldn’t do the class work. Having the class supplies on hand helped resolve that problem. Not saying it was right, or the best solution, but it was a solution to the problem.
