I turn 22 this month and it’s dawning on me.  I had high school teachers that were 22.  There are people my age who are forming the minds of dumb high schoolers.  They were 22 and given THAT MUCH responsibility.

But also there are soldiers younger than me.  I go through checkpoints onto Marine bases and they call me ma'am because I’m older than them.  There are Marines born in 1996.
