Celebrating Birth of 100th Great-Grandchild: “This is our response to Hitler”
Michael (92) and Marion (90) Mittwoch fled Germany as teenagers when Hitler rose to power, and were among the founders of Kibbutz Lavi.
This month they celebrated the birth of their 100th great-grandchild, Dagan Raz (in the center of the photo below, along with proud great-grandparents, father, and grandfather).
Michael Mittwoch reflected with emotion, “This is our response to Hitler, yemach shmo. He attempted to wipe us out and here we have brought our 100th great-grandchild into the covenant of Avraham Avinu!”
