There is NO RESEARCH that proves that homework is beneficial until the high school level. And yet my 7 year old niece has 3 hours of homework every night. EVERY NIGHT. She’s already anxious about her performance in school and she’s 7.

That’s bullshit and it needs to stop.

This sounds great but I’m curious that if they haven’t done any hw until hs, wouldn’t that make the shock worse? Like suddenly they have to do work they aren’t used to or prepared for?
