Can we stop pretending that being constantly negative about men and boys is cute, quirky or funny, because it’s really none of those things, it’s gross and mean.

If a man grew up with an abusive mother and had a string of similarly abusive women in his life, is he allowed to make negative, generalizing remarks about women? Should we as women just tolerate that because “Obviously he doesn’t mean ALL women!” and “It’s how he copes!”
I wouldn’t put up with that, so neither should anyone else.
