The party was AWESOME, the Hemingway Lounge was GORGEOUS, and it was such a treat to get to hear Leigh Bardugo read from her book (and diary!).

BTW, there’s NOTHING WRONG with being oddly specific about your wishes, Leigh!  You never know who’s hearing them!

Hey guys, here it is! This song was a labor of love for me and some of my former bandmates. It was written on my phone and most of it was recorded in Aaron’s apartment. (That choir you hear? That’s just Aaron’s wife and one of her friends. Technology!) I’ll be writing a bit more about how we did it for the Siege and Storm blog tour.

Also, y'all should totes read her Shadow and Bone book soon because the sequel is coming out soon and I almost typed “sequeal” there but really combining sequel and squeal is an accurate description.
