“The Fox and the Crow”
Inspired by the song “The Fox, the Crow, and the Cookie” by Mewithoutyou, which was inspired by the old folk tale.
While the tale is great, something about the imagery of the song really brought it to life to me. I tried to incorporate as much of the dessert imagery in as well as the whimsical feeling.
This was also a personal experiment. I tend to get too “character” focused in my art and not… “art” focused. Here I wanted to focus on the overall feeling of the picture, notjustthe characters. I wanted movement, a coordinated color scheme, and interesting lines.

SHOOT THIS IS OLD.
LIKE TWO YEARS OR SUMTHIN’.
But I felt like putting it up anyway. If only for the detail in that darn fabric.
Characters from a story I was writing like ages ago and haven’t worked on in lord only knows.

Trying out colors for Ellie’s skirt, any recommendations/preferences? Also, a name for the porcupine?
Mr. Fauxabe and his sweetheart. c:
(She needs a name! Any suggestions???)
Myself as a pony, hooray! :D (SO GIRLY LOOKING, HAHA.)
I’d be a really awkward flyer, probably even worse than Fluttershy but not as clumsy as Derpy Hooves. Just a pony that’s better suited for trotting than flying.
