Does anybody have any tips for moving with Copics and paints? All my stuff is going to be put in a truck and driven from CA to VA, then possibly put in storage for 1-3 mos and I’m trying to decide if that’s safe for them. Or I could try to cram into my suitcase, but 100+ markers and 30+ bottles of various ink take up substantial space. This is what I’ve done in the past, but I didn’t have so many!

Do I ziploc them to catch leakage? Is there a way to store them to prevent leaks??? I’ve had a bottle of ink explode just sitting in an artbox under my desk before and it’s terrible.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks! ♡

No reference tonight because tired. Have a happy Wednesday!

This painting of mine is getting heavy reblog traffic right now, and I’m just floored!  Thanks everyone for the love it’s gotten, it means so much. ♥

On a side note, I’m also incredibly impressed at the number of people that have reblogged it AND kept my original (albeit short) comment on it.  That means even more than the number of notes, it shows not only love for my art but also respect for me as the artist.

You guys rock.  Absolutely rock. ♥

Forgot to post this, but here’s a commission I did of a client’s deceased pet wolfdog! He was a gorgeous creature from the photos and it was a pleasure and honor to paint him.

Details of “Obsessions”!

The goal for this was to play with subtle colors in a way I don’t typically use, hence the blotches of pink, red, purple, and blue.  The colors around the eye turned out the best, I think.

I also wanted to visually convey the idea of the song’s theme of obsessive thoughts and the need to find anyway you can to drive them out.  It’s a need for release from those thoughts and ideas that possess you, the feeling that you need to toss your head back and let them burst out.  As the thoughts pass by other thoughts, like bubbles floating, they get murky and begin to mix.

NEED HELP WITH POSSIBLE ART THEFT!!

Hey, guys, I need some help.  This morning I saw that Urban Outfitters has started selling a sweater with a freakishly familiar design.  I don’t want to jump the gun and start saying that this design was stolen from me, but the similarity is uncanny.  I don’t have a trademark on foxes curled into a heart shape so I’m not sure if this officially qualifies as “copyright infringement”.

What do you guys think?  Is this too similar to be a cooincidence?  If so, what should I do?

The sweater can be found here and my artwork here.
