I have to read and watch “Brokeback Mountain” for my creative writing class.
I am really uncomfortable watching R-rated movies, especially romance-orientated R-rated movies. I’ll probably be okay with the short story because as I understand it, it isn’t graphic, but the movie has me a bit itchy. Has anyone seen the movie, and can tell me how graphic it is?
Thanks! ♥
I’m living away from home this week and I didn’t know we needed a folder to submit my English class’s first paper in… and this is the only one I had. At least there are no expectations!
To everyone struggling in school right now, remember this:
The word “essay” comes from the french word, “essayer” meaning “to try”.
Even the inventors of the style knew they were flopping around and bsing.
The past three times I’ve been to Mason it’s been bitterly cold and snowing. I’m never going to learn the campus because I’ll die of exposure first.
After dodging the loan temptation for five semesters, I am now feeling the crush of oncoming student loans that can’t even cover all of my tuition, and a car loan that wasn’t quite enough to cover the needed repairs and licenses. God this sucks.
MY RUSSIAN HISTORY GROUP PROJECT TEAM WINS EVERYTHING
EVERYONE IS FIGHTING OVER DOING THE MOST WORK
NO ONE IS DOING NOTHING
WE’RE ALL COMMUNICATING ON A TIMETABLE
WE’RE GETTING DONE EARLY
AND NOW WE’RE CRACKING JOKES ABOUT RUSSIAN STEREOTYPES
SOMETIMES LIFE IS GOOD
My online Russian history class professor has either given up or is the greatest realist. From the class’s website, he actually linked to the assigned novel’s Cliffnotes page.
30 minutes before the paper’s midnight deadline, the Virginia student sighed in defeat…
… Until, what’s this? The deadline is midnight pacific standard time, or 3 am her time. “There’s hope yet,” the procrastinator whispered. Three more hours remained.
I took that math exam today, it took two hours, and while I only needed to pass through section 5, I passed all 9 standard sections and only didn’t pass calculus.
I only studied for seven sections.
This isn’t an exercise of math comprehension.
This is an exercise of will power and mental endurance.
